剧情介绍：十六世纪，卡克斯砍领袖坦那马左为捍卫地区自由领导了当地的人民起义，被诬陷杀人遭捕，方济教会的牧师为营救他四处奔走，想把他引渡到西班牙接受公正的审判。唐迈格尔的女儿艾丽莎决定帮助他们，为其证明父亲才是杀害了自己丈夫的凶手。唐迈格尔得知坦那马左将被引渡到西班牙接受审判，决定去城里。在途中遭遇了种种危险事件，最终艾丽莎在西班牙国王面前说出实情，奴隶制度也在不久后在此区域废除。
